Showcasing the top accommodation, restaurants and activities in Etosha National Park.

Etosha National Park is located in the north western part of Namibia. It is a large area housing several animal and plant species. It has since been a game reserve on 22 March 1907.

Etosha National Park was named after the large Etosha salt pan that is part of the area. About 23% of the park is covered by this salt pan and is so large it can be seen from space.

The average climate of the area is that of a savanna desert climate which means hot temperatures during the day and cool temperatures at night. Rain rarely falls but many animals thrive in this environment.
